This page contains a list of awards and honors I have won. See also my puzzle-solving history for information on puzzle hunts I have won by solving.

• 2004: I was selected as a member of the US team for the World Puzzle Championship held in Opatija, Croatia and my team won the world championship.
• 2025: The fourth annual Bravo Awards for Puzzle Hunts in 2024 gave awards to Round of the Year to Hell, MI (primarily my work), Best Puzzle-Based Media to my blog, and Lifetime Achievement Award to me for my work in creating the Mystery Hunt Index and writing various puzzles.
• 2025: Along with my co-authors Thomas C. Occhipinti and Daniel J. Velleman, I won the inaugural Mohammad K. Azarian award from the Mathematical Society of America for math problem writing. See my publications page for information about the problem that won.
