This puzzle type consists of two columns of things with dots next to each, and stuff in the middle. When you pair up the things correctly and draw lines between the matches, the stuff in the middle crossed by the lines spells out an answer. Many variations are possible depending on the things matched and what is in the middle; it's also possible the uncrossed middle-things are used (especially if letters). Mike Selinker uses this name for this puzzle type in Puzzlecraft.
